Planning Commission — September 3, 2026
Genentech is rebuilding the heart of its Oyster Point campus with six new R&D buildings totaling about 1.3 million square feet, plus a regional utility plant enabling an all-electric, fossil-fuel-free campus. The company says the buildings will house existing workers, not new growth, and campus-wide parking will drop to about 6,000 spaces. Bay Trail access points and public access to the Wind Harp via DNA Way will be preserved.
